This year, Black Bottle Riot will set every stage on fire with their powerful rock music once again. During their fifteen years of existence, the band has conquered the hearts of audiences and music critics alike. With the 2023 release “That’s Amore” it’s obvious that these men are able to renew and develop themselves, without forgetting their roots in blues, soul and rock & roll. On “That’s Amore” – their fifth studio album to date – the love for soul and the warmth of analogue sound is combined with deeply rooted influences from rock and blues. The deep love of making music together is what keeps Black Bottle Riot alive and kicking. With the years the mutual connection and craftmanship only grows stronger. Whether on stage or in the studio, they bring their soulful rock music in a confident, no nonsense way. “That’s Amore” reveals the core of what they stand for and are capable of, with quality always on top.
Thanks to self-imposed limitations in the studio environment, the band succeeded in catching the live feel on this record. No overdubs & no fixing of mistakes, but just recording live in the studio and embracing any happy accidents along the process. On this album, Black Bottle Riot treads a path which touches on all sorts of inspirational sources, ranging from the Tex-Mex rock of Los Lobos to the garage rock of the Hellacopters. A mature album with a positive message, full of ‘good time rock & roll music’.
