Een amateurbigband op semiprofesioneel niveau.

De compacte swingende en dynamische sound van het Eindhoven Jazz Orchestra (voorheen Sonic Blast Bigband) wordt geroemd op festivals en clubs in binnen- en buitenland. Internationaal traden zij op o.a. op het Jazzfestival in Montreux en verschillende plaatsen in Duitsland. Sonic Blast Big Band werkte samen met grote namen in de Nederlandse jazz, zoals saxofonist Frank Vaganee (Brussels Jazz orkest), trombonist Martijn Sohier (Jazzorchestra of the Concertgebouw), trompettist Ruud Breuls (Metropole orkest) trompettist Ack van Rooyen (Ramblers en Skymasters), saxofonist en fluitist Peter Guidi (Jazzmania) en het Mozes Rosenberg Trio.
